Programme Details

Aims:

M.Sc. Electronics programme aims to develop the following abilities:

  1. Impart the basic and up-to-date knowledge in the electronics with sufficient practical

sessions.

  1. To be specific, subject areas like Digital signal processing, Embedded Electronics, Control system, Digital Design, Artificial Intelligence, Deep learning, Optical communication techniques etc. are discussed with adequate theory knowledge which

      will help to develop the system.

  1. To have practical knowledge in these subjects.

 

Objectives:

  1. Prepare students to pursue research in Electromagnetics, Signal Processing, Image

Processing, Artificial Intelligence and ANN, Robotics

  1. To become an entrepreneur in embedded based system, digital and analog system

         design

  1. To develop multi-skilled engineers who are able to spearhead the progress of the

Nation in the information age.

PROGRAM OUTCOME

Post graduate education in Electronics aims to mould scholars, researchers and technocrats who play a vital role in shaping the technological arena. The curriculum, course content and assessment play major roles in shaping scholars and researchers. Hence it should be compromised with basic knowledge to latest up to date trends in the field. Based on this view, the expert committee of MG University has formulated the syllabus and curriculum of M.Sc. Electronics (PGCSS) with a spectrum of topics that will satisfy the current requirement of the industry and research. 

M.Sc. Electronics programme aims to develop the following abilities:

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOME

Duration Of The Programme

The duration of P.G. programmes shall be 4 semesters ( 2 years ).

 

Eligibility:

Age Limit: There is no age limit for applying to M.Sc Electronics Programme

Graduation in Physics / Instrumentation/ Electronics / Electronics with Computer Maintenance / Computer Science / Computer Application / Physics (Electronic Equipment Maintenance) / Computer Maintenance and Electronics /BCA with not less than CGPA of 2.00 out of 4 in the Core Group (Core + Complementary + Open Courses)

 

Graduation in Physics / Instrumentation/ Electronics / Electronics with Computer Maintenance / Computer Science / Computer Application / Physics (Electronic Equipment Maintenance) / Computer Maintenance and Electronics /BCA with not less than CCPA of 5.00 out of 10.00 in the Core Group (Core + Complementary + Open Courses),

 

Graduation in Physics / Instrumentation/ Electronics / Electronics with Computer Maintenance / Computer Science / Computer Application / Physics (Electronic Equipment Maintenance) / Computer Maintenance and Electronics /BCA with not less than 50% marks in the Part III (Main/Core + subsidiaries /Complementaries).

 

Weightage of 10% marks scored by the candidate in Part III Core/Main shall added to the total of Part III Core/Main for those candidates who have studied B.Sc. Electronics/Electronics with Computer Hardware degrees after standardizing the marks secured for the same to 600.
