The College Union comprises all students of the college. Those who are on the rolls at the time of the elections have the right to vote and contest elections to the College Union. The main objectives of the College Union are to train the students in the duties and rights of citizenship. Besides, it promotes opportunities for their development by organizing debates, seminars and such other programmes. The Union Executive consists of the Staff Adviser, the Chairman of the College Union, the Vice- Chairman, the General Secretary, the Arts Club Secretary, the Editor, two University Union Councillors, one representative each elected from each semester of all courses and two lady representatives elected by and from among, the women students. The Union Executive nominates a Sports Club Secretary and two Sub Editors for the College Magazine. The Principal will be the ex-officio treasurer and patron of the College Union. Expenses for the activities of the College Union require the prior sanction of the principal.
